FULL LIST: See Names of Over 2800 Ugandans Shortlisted for Police Job Interviews This Week and Their Interview Venues

Interviews for applicants shortlisted for the position of Probationer Police Constable (PPC) – general duties and drivers will be conducted this week, the Uganda Police Force (UPF) has confirmed. The interviews will include a fitness test, aptitude test, oral test, medical examination and a driving test for those who applied for UPF driver jobs. Interviewees will be asked to present their original national identity card, original academic documents, and original driving license for those who applied for employment as PPC drivers. 

Interviews of applicants shortlisted for the position of PPC general duties will be conducted at designated regional recruitment centers on respective dates. A notice from police headquarters says that the shortlisted shortlisted applicants will be required to report at the respective recruitment centers by 8am.

Starting tomorrow, October 19, 2022 through October 23, 2022, a total of 2,852 shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at 27 recruitment centers categorized under 11 regional teams.  A total of 1986 applicants have been shortlisted for interviews for the job of Probationer Police Constables for general duties while 866 applicants were shortlisted for PPC driver jobs. RECRUITMENT CENTERS

The interviews will be conducted in 11 teams.  Team One will include the recruitment center of Katonga – Mpigi with applicants from Mpigi, Gomba and Butambala sitting interviews on October 19, 2022; while applicants from the districts of Hoima, Buliisa, Masindi, Kiryandongo, Kibaale, Kakumiro, Kagadi and Kikuube will go the the Albertine – Hoima City recruitment center for their interviews on October 20, 2022. Under the same Team One, shortlisted applicants from the districts of Luwero, Nakaseke, and Nakasongola will be interviewed at the Savanah – Luwero Recruitment Center on October 21, 2022.

Under Team Two, shortlisted applicants from the Districts of Bushenyi, Rubirizi, Mitooma, Sheema and Buhweju will be interviewed at the Greater Bushenyi – Bushenyi Recruitment Center on October 19, 2022; those from Kasese, Bwera, Katwe – Kabatooro and Hima will be interviewed at the Rwenzori East – Kasese Recruitment Center on October 20, 2022; those from Kabarole, Kamwenge, Ntoroko, Kyenjojo, Bundibugyo, Kyegegwa, Bunyangabo and Kitagwenda districts will be interviewed at the Rwenzori West – Fort Portal City Recruitment Center on October 21, 2022; while those from the districts of Mityana, Mubende, Kiboga, Kyankwanzi and Kassanda will be interviewed at the Wamala – Mityana Recruitment Center on October 22, 2022.

Under Team Three, applicants from the districts of Bukwo, Kween and Kapchorwa will be interviewed from the Sipi – Kapchorwa Recruitment Center on October 19, 2022; those from Amudat, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Nakapiripirit and Napak districts will be interviewed at the Mt Moroto – Moroto Recruitment Center on October 20, 2022; while those from the districts of Kotido, Kirenga, Abim and Kaabong will be interviewed at the Kidepo – Kotido recruitment center on October 21, 2022.

Under team four, shortlisted applicants from the districts of Kabale, Kanungu, Rukungiri, Rubanda, Kisoro and Rukiga will be interviewed at the Kigezi – Kabale Recruitment Center from October 19 to October 20, 2022; those from the districts of Mbarara Ntungamo, Kiruhura, Isingiro, Kazo, Rwampara and Ibanda will be interviewed at the Rwizi – Mbarara City Recruitment Center  from October 21 to October 22, 2022; while those from the Districts of Masaka, Lwengo, Kyotera, Kalungu, Bukomansimbi, Kalangala, Lyantonde, Sembabule, and Rakai will be interviewed at the Greater Masaka – Masaka City Recruitment Center on October 23, 2022.

Under Team Five, applicants from Buikwe, Njeru, Kayunga and Buvuma will go to the Ssezibwa – Lugazi – Buikwe Recruitment Center on October 19, 2022;  those from Kiira Central, Kiira North (Buwenge), and Kiira East (Kakira) will go to Kiira Region – Jinja East Recruitment Center on October 20, 2022; those from the districts of Kamuli, Kaliro, Buyende and Luuka will go to the Busoga North  – Kamuli Recruitment Center on October 21, 2022; while those from the districts of Iganga, Mayuge, Namayingo, Bugiri, Namutumba and Bugweri will go to the Busoga East –  Iganga Recruitment Center from October 22, 2022 to October 23, 2022.

For Team Six, shortlisted applicants from the districts of Budaka, Pallisa, Butebo, and Kibuku will be interviewed at the Bukedi North – Budaka Recruitment Center from October 19 to October 20, 2022; applicants from Tororo, Busia and Butaleja districts will be interviewed at the Bukedi South – Tororo Recruitment Center from October 21 to October 22, 2022; while those from the districts of Mbale, Manafwa, Bududa, Sironko, Bulambuli and Namisindwa will be interviewed at the Elgon – Mbale City Recruitment Center on October 23, 2022.

Under Team Seven, applicants from the districts of Gulu, Kitgum, Agago, Lamwo, Nwoya, Amuru, Omoro, and Pader will go to the Aswa River – Gulu City Recruitment Center from October 19 to October 20, 2022 while those from the districts of Lira, Apac, Oyam, Kole, Dokolo, Alebtong, Otuke, Amolatar, and Kwania willgo to the North Kyoga – Lira City Recruitment Center for their interviews from October 21, 2022 to October 22, 2022.

For Team Eight, shortlisted applicants from the districts of Moyo, Yumbe, Adjumani and Obongi will have their interviews at the North West Nile – Recruitment Center on October 19, 2022 while those from the districts of Arua, Maracha, Nebbi, Koboko, Zombo, Pakwach, Madi-Okollo, and Terego will be interviewed at the West Nile – Arua City Recrtuitment Center from October 20 to October 21, 2022.

Under Team Nine, shortlisted applicants from the districts of Soroti, Bukedea, Kumi, Ngora, Amuria, Katakwi, Kaberamaido, Serere, Kaperebyong, and Kalaki will have their interviews at the East Kyoga – Soroti City from October 19 to October 22, 2022.

Interviews for applicants under Team Team will have their interviews at the KMP-PTS Kibuli and will be from the areas of Wakiso, Kakiri, Old Kampala, Nansana, Wandegeya, Kawempe, Kasangati;  Mukono, Naggalama, Kira Road, Kira Division, and Jinja Road; as well as CPS Kampala, Katwe, Nsangi, Kajjansi, Entebbe, and Kabalagala. Interviews for these three sets under Team Ten (KMP – PTS Kibuli) will run from October 19 to October 21, 2022.

Team Eleven will be for the applicants shortlisted for the PPC Driver jobs. The Centralized Recruitment Center for Drivers will be the Kibuli Driving School – Kibuli and interviews will take place from October 19 to October 23, 2022.
