YOU’RE LIKE MANDELA! Here’s What Top Ugandan Celebrities Are Saying About Eddy Kenzo Grammy Award Nomination

Top Ugandan celebrities, most of them musicians, have been reacting to the news of singer Edirisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo’s Grammy Award nomination. One Ugandan artiste referred to Kenzo as ‘Big Mandela.’

After receiving news that he will be part of the 65th edition of the Grammys award ceremony due for February 2023, Kenzo thanked fellow singer Matt B with whom he shares the nomination, his Ugandan colleagues and fans.

“We are so grateful to God almighty for such a great moment in our country. My brother Matt B, thank you. Greg, Angella, ASteyn thank you for this record. Fellow artistes thank you, this is for all of us. Uganda thank you for raising me. East Africa stand up,” said Eddy Kenzo
