YOU CAN ONLY INHERIT YOUR FATHER’S COWS: Bobi Wine Fires Back at Muhoozi, Tells Him Uganda is not One of Museveni’s Properties

Bobi Wine to Banyankore Elders: Speak Out Against Muhoozi Before It's Too Late I'm Giving You Sleepless Nights and Making You Drink Too Much: Bobi Wine Fires Back at Muhoozi TRANSITION FROM MUSEVENI: Date Set for Ugandans to Choose Museveni Successor

Bobi Wine, Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Museveni

National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has fired back at first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for hinting at a presidential showdown between them.

Bobi Wine lost to Lt Gen Kainerugaba’s father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni in the 2021 presidential election. The singer-turned-politician claimed the election had been rigged. He petitioned the Supreme Court, the highest temple of justice in the land, but later withdrew his case, citing bias on the side of judges.

Now, Kainerugaba, the Commander of UPDF Land Forces and Museveni’s senior advisor on special operations, seems to be gearing up for a presidential election to succeed his father who will have ruled Uganda for four decades by the end of his current five-year term in 2026.

Recently, the first son tweeted a cartoon by an artist named Kintu, depicting him (Muhoozi) and Bobi Wine arguing over who can fit in President Museveni’s ‘big’ shoes. Muhoozi also referred to Bobi Wine as his brother.

“Me and my young brother Kabobi arguing over who can fill my father’s shoes!” read the tweet in part.

But this post angered Bobi Wine who made it clear to the first son that he was not his brother, and that he should stop thinking that Uganda is one of Museveni’s properties which he (Muhoozi) has a right to inherit.

The NUP leader also told the first son that the only only inherit Museveni’s properties, not the country and the presidency. “I am not your brother and I’m not competing for your father’s shoes. You’re entitled to Museveni’s shoes, cows and even his hat. One mistake you make is to think that Uganda is one of your father’s properties for you to inherit,” Bobi Wine responded to Museveni’s son.

I am not your brother and I'm not competing for your father's shoes. You're entitled to M7's shoes, cows and even his hat. One mistake you make is to think that Uganda is one of your father's properties for you to inherit. https://t.co/NbdwaZ7FMP

Bobi Wine is not the first politician to remind Muhoozi that he cannot inherit Uganda and State House. Recently, a fearless FDC MP told Museveni to give his son and wives the list of properties they should inherit from him, making it clear that Uganda is not one of them. (Read Story Here).

Another opposition politician has also said that Muhoozi is a reckless general with nothing apart from his birth certificate indicating that Museveni is his father. (Read Story Here).
