You and your father are jokers & weak imperial agents, former spy chief tells off First Son Muhoozi Kainerugaba on fighting US, EU Vietnam-style

Former Internal Security Organization (ISO) chief of political intelligence Charles Rwomushana has told off first son Lt Muhoozi Kainerugaba after the latter alluded to Africa defeating imperial US and EU Vietnam-style.

In the 1970s, Vietnam defeated French and US forces, becoming one of the worst foreign policy failures in the latter’s military history.

Museveni reveals how he’d planned to send troops to fight Gadaffi’s western aggressors; outlines plan to defend, secure Africa

When he took oath of office for a sixth successive elective five-year term, President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni rallied African leaders to defend themselves against foreign aggression.

Days later, his son and senior advisor on special security operations Lt Gen Kainerugaba warned against imperialists fuelling subversion.

Now, Rwomushana says Museveni and his son have a lot of work to do to match Vietmam’s army that humbled the US.

“Whereas it’s true Vietnam annihilated the French military and later the USA military, Mr Museveni and as it his Muhoozi Kainerugaba are not any where comparable to or used closer to the Vietnam situation,” said Rwomushana.

“Firstly, the Vietnam fighters had extreme resolve and ruthlessly enforced the strategy of a United Political Front
The NRA [NRM] anchors self on silly tactics of manipulation and deceit.”

The former spy also insinuated the panic with which security agencies handled recent political operations is telling of their weaknesses.

“How do you start slaughtering peasant civilians because of the simple challenge of a nascent insurgency? The NRA [NRM] is spiritually weak because it’s heavily material. You even grab land from peasants? You are really empty.”

He also labelled the president and his son agents of imperialists.

“Whereas it’s true that if the entire African people were to be mobilised under a United political front and with refined discipline, no imperial force would endure here,” he noted.

“I would not want to pick that lecture from imperial agents of the likes of Museveni.”
