A rift is going on between Ugandan divas Rema Namakula and Fille Mutoni over Rwandan singer The Ben.
The Ben is known for his collabos with Ugandan singers such as Sheebah (Binkolera), and B2C Entertainment (No You, No Life).
Both Rema and Fille hoped to use The Ben to further penetrate the Rwandan music market.
But along the way, in the quest to sell their voices to the Rwandans, The Ben seemed to be playing the two songbirds.
While some had claimed that Fille and Rema had been fighting for The Ben’s love, we have learnt that the two female singers’ beef has everything to do with a song collabo.
That while Fille and The Ben had recorded a song titled ‘This is Love,’ the Rwandan singer was later advised that the composition would make more sense if Rema replaced Fille.
Fille and MC Kats had tirelessly worked, investing both time and money into the collabo, to ensure that the song project becomes a success.
But they were shocked to learn that The Ben had ditched Fille for Rema, and re-recorded the same song under the same title.
It is The Ben’s action that has reportedly created a rift between Rema and Fille.
