Diehard supporters of first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba have threatened to force him to succeed his father Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni as Uganda’s president.

On May 28 night, Lt Gen Kainerugaba shocked his supporters when he said that he has never dreamed of becoming Uganda’s president but is interested in fulfilling the interests of his generation.

“A lot of people keep asking me if I want to be President? I have never dreamed about it! All I want and what we will struggle for and definitely achieve are the interests of our generation,” tweeted Muhoozi.

But his supporters, or at least those who claim to support him, threatened to force Museveni’s son to succeed his father. Here are some of the reactions to Muhoozi’s statement that he has never dreamt of becoming president.

But he seems to have changed his mind, especially in light of a court case challenging his political statements and birthday celebrations that his critics say are similar to campaign rallies. (Read Story Here).
