One of fallen Archbishop of the Orthodox Church of Uganda Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga’s last messages to President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni and his ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government spells doom for the country’s elderly long-serving president and his political group.
Archbishop Metropolitan Lwanga passed on in Athens September 05.
About years earlier, Lwanga had used his belated Easter message delivered at Namungoona Hill in April 2019 to rebuke Museveni and his NRM over alleged human rights violations, murders and human rights violations.
The prelate prophesied the fall of Museveni’s government.
“We are going to suffer human rights abuse until NRM is dissolved. And it [NRM] is going to dissolve very soon. I say this prophetically, it is not going to be there because it has disturbed this nation very much. It is going to dissolve,” preached Metropolitan Lwanga.
“When it dissolves, then things will go wonderfully.”
The man of God also predicted doom for four judges on the Supreme Court of Uganda who upheld the removal of the age limit from the Constitution to allow Museveni contest beyond the age of 75.
