PARLIAMENT BLASTS FDC OVER CECILIA OGWAL BURIAL

Parliament has reacted to the tentative program for the burial of Cecilia Ogwal as released by the FDC party, telling Ugandans to ignore it.

The legislature also warned the opposition party against vulgarizing Cecilia Ogwal’s final sendoff.

“The burial of the late Hon. Cecilia Ogwal is the responsibility of Parliament not the FDC. Please disregard the purported burial programme released by the FDC on it’s social media platforms,” said Parliament in a short statement.

“The Speaker of Parliament together with the family, will release the funeral arrangements.

We urge the FDC to observe the bare minimum of respect and decency and not vulgarise the final journey of the hugely respected Hon. Ogwal.”
