WAR! Angry Singer Spice Diana Blasts Janzi Awards Organizers after Failing to Win any Award

Singer Spice Diana is angry with the organizers of the inaugural Janzi Awards 2021 after she failed to win any award, leaving empty handed.

After losing big time as award winners were announced at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala, the ‘Anti Kale’ singer blamed her loss on the little time given to the public and the panel of judges (academy) to choose winners.

“For the Janzi Awards in particular, what was the rush to organise an award ceremony in two weeks. What was the intention of the event?”

Although she half-heartedly congratulated the winners, Spice Diana questioned the criteria used to select the best in the industry.

“Why did you allow the fans to vote if the final verdict depended on the opinion of just the ‘academy’ who we are not sure of their interests,” she further wrote.

“We congratulate every winner however what is the criteria you used to determine the Artist of the year.”

She also accused the organizers of selfishness, and of leaving out artistes who deserved recognition.

“I know so many great artists who deserved that accolade hands down,” she noted.

“If you want to elevate the art industry, let’s have clear headed people without selfish interests out of our art industry. Open us up; let us go back and work.”
