VIDEO: NBS TV's Canary Mugume Arrives for 'a date' in Mpenkoni Car with Police Escorts, Like a Top Museveni Government Official

Canary Mugume disembarks from the vehicle.

NBS TV news anchor Canary Mugume is speeding to the top echelons of the media industry, and could be one of the most connected, powerful and wealthy people to grace the screens in recent years.

Months ago, Canary Mugume wedded his longtime girlfriend Sasha in a lavish wedding that left many envying the young man and questioning the source of his money.

Now, Canary Mugume has continued to leave people, especially those on social media streets such as Twitter, talking, after a video showing him appear for what was thought to be a date in a chauffeured SUV, with a police escort.

This has left many wondering whether Canary Mugume is now a top government worker.
