There is trouble in former Busiro South MP Peter Ssematimba’s paradise after a former house maid ( house girl) named Joan Namatovu accused him of tricking her into his marital bed, making her pregnant and has now rushed to court demanding full custody rights of their son abandoned years ago.

Namatovu claims that Ssematimba slept with her and made her pregnant when his wife was abroad.

She claims it was Ssematimba’s mother who recommended her to work as a maid for the media personality and politician.

That was in 2005.

Namatovu alleges that one night, Ssematimba ordered her to help scrub his back while he took a shower.

That night, she narrated to local entertainment shows, she slept with Ssematimba.

Years later, the resultant of their sex episodes was a son named Kisa kya Mukama or Kisakye who Ssematimba prefers to call Kisa.

She would later abandon Ssematimba’s house in Lubaga to stay in Mutundwe.

After seeking help from former junior minister for youth and children affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi in vain, since Ssematimba refused to show up for meetings to decide on a way forward, the former MP and self-styled pastor sought court orders to have full custody of their son Kisa kya Mukama (Kisakye) aka Kisa.

The case is up for hearing in the family court division on June 29.

Namatovu now wants any lawyer or firm willing to help her in securing custody rights.

She alleges that Ssematimba is a womanizer who would be a bad example to their child.

Namatovu also insists granting Ssematimba’s custodial rights would be mentally and emotionally draining to her as a mother who will keep suspicious and worried on who is looking after their child in her absence.
