Outgoing works and transport minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala has spoken out on his health condition following a shooting that claimed the lives of his daughter Brenda Nantongo and driver Haruna Kayondo.
The Kisota Road, Bukoto-Kisaasi, shooting incident happened June 01 morning.
Speaking from his hospital bed at Medipal International Hospital along Acacia Avenue in Kampala, Gen Wamala said “God has given me a second chance.”
He was also confident he would “pull through” since he had sustained injuries that are “not very serious.”
