A group of friends to Dr Kizza Besigye surprised the veteran opposition leader on his 66th birthday.
Hailed by many as the father of the Museveni-era opposition politics, Besigye was at his Kasangati, Wakiso home when a group of friends came along with a cake, and celebrations began.
By the time this group showed up, Besigye was having a chat with Sarah Bireete, the Executive Director of the Center for Constitutional Governance (CCG).
With the group streaming in one by one and the politician’s ‘Toka kwa barabara’ campaign song playing, it was time for those Besigye dance strokes.
Meanwhile, a number of Ugandans have been sending Besigye birthday wishes and praises.
