UPDF sink Police to go top

At the start of the Star times Uganda premier league 2020/2021 season, you would hardly think of UPDF leading the table at a certain stage.

The reality is that UPDF is leading the summit till February 2021 when the league returns after a long break to give the national team prepare for the Forth coming CHAN tournament.

Kefa Kisala’s UPDF edged their sister security forces in Police FC by a goal to Neal in a match that played at Bombo Military barracks to take the bragging rights between the two rivals.

Police came in this game with hope of extending their tally to 13 points from five games but their compatriots denied them a chance and took it by themselves.

Ruben Kabuye put UDPF in front after tapping in Police’s Tom Ikara’s spilled ball from a close range which was initially Brian Kayanja’s shot.
The loss sends Police to the third position.

Meanwhile Express FC beat SC Villa by 1-0, Onduparaka beat Kitara 3-1, Mbarara City yet again held MYDA at 3 all draw.
