Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has confirmed that results from the 2020 O-Level Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) are ready for release.
“After the briefing, the Minister will confirm the date and time for the official release of the results to the public.”
It is hoped that Ms Museveni and Uneb officials could release the results on Friday if the previous release schedule is anything to go by.
In the recently released PLE exam results, Uneb officials had briefed education ministry officials on Wednesday and released the results on Friday, July 16.
A total of 333,889 candidates registered for end of secondary level (O-Level) UCE examinations.
The majority of the candidates are female (50.1) per cent while the test (49.8) are males.
A total of 148,135 candidates were funded by government under the Universal Secondary Education (USE) program while 185,754 candidates registered as Non-USE candidates.
Some 47 candidates registered from Upper Prison Inmates Secondary School, Luzira.
