Ukraine Cruise Past Finland with Yarmolenko’s Strike, but France Still Group D Leaders

Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk goals for Finland in Group D World Cup Qualifiers but France remains favorite to emerge from the group.

This was Yarmolenko’s 43rd goal for Ukraine.

Both Yarmolenko and Yaremchuk’s goals came through in the first half.

The former’s in the first five minutes of the game.

But in the 29th minute, Teemu Pukki scored for Finland.

Yaremchuk would later return Ukraine into the lead.

Ukraine now have eight points, four behind first-placed France.

Finland is in third while Kazakhstan, who have five points, are in fourth.

Bosnia and Herzegovina hammered Kazakhstan 2-0.
