UCE 2023 RESULTS RELEASE DATE: Uneb Finally Speaks Out Following Reports

Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has spoken out after reports on social media started speculation on the UCE 2023 results release date.

After Uneb and the education ministry released the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results, parents and students have been awaiting the release of the 2023 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results. But the UCE 2023 results release date remains a mystery.

While The Pearl Times understands that marking and grading of the UCE 2023 examinations papers was completed last month, Uneb is yet to release the results.

Like PLE results, the UCE results release date announcement follows an event during which Uneb officials brief the education minister, First Lady Janet Museveni.

As the briefing and announcement delay, some Ugandans have been speculating on the UCE 2023 results release date.

But Uneb has come out to dismiss claims by those speculating on the release date.

Uneb said it will officially communicate the UCE 2023 results release date. But the examinations board did not reveal when that communication will be made.

“Please disregard this information as it is not true. The Board will communicate  the date for the official  release  of the 2023 UCE  Results,” the board said in a statement.

For now, you can check out the list of the top best performing O-level schools in the previous UCE sittings Here, There and Over There.
