Trump: US election worse than polls in third world countries

US president Donald Trump claimed US electoral democracy had sunk lower than that in third world countries.

Tweeting on January 06 hours before Twitter suspended his account, Trump called out ‘fools’ for embarrasing America.

“Our Election Process is worse than that of third world countries!” wrote Trump who has since sworn he will never concede defeat.

Trump alleges voter fraud cost him the November election, favouring former Barrack Obama VP Joe Biden.

He hoped his deputy Mike Pence would block the certification of results but the VP declined.

Ahead of the certification, pro-Trump protesters stormed Capitol Hill, disruption a joint congress session.

Trump urged protestors to go home.
