TOO SMALL, THEY DON’T FIT US! Shock as ‘Gifted’ Ugandan Men Complain of Small Size of Condoms

A group of Ugandan men have complained about the size of condoms, saying this form of protection from STDs and against unwanted pregnancies has been coming in sizes too small to accommodate their magic sticks.

Apparently, these men are well endowed or gifted and most of the condoms on the market do not work for them.

They are demanding that government, through National Medical Stores (NMS), procures condoms that are large enough to give them protection, guarantee maximum pleasure and save them from ballooning their women at a time they are not ready to have children.

These Ugandans sent their complaints through their representative in Parliament. And as the House reacted to the report on NMS and its persistent delays in delivery of essential drugs to public health centres.

On July 05, Joel Ssenyonyi, the Nakawa West MP and Chairperson of the Committee of Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (Cosase), presented a report on the financial statements of National Medical Stores for the Financial Year ended June 30, 2022.

Ssenyonyi noted that Dr Jane Ruth Aceng’s Ministry of Health was the biggest debtor to NMS   at Shs31.4 bn followed by CDC project at Shs8.9bn. “According to NMS, efforts to have these funds recovered have been futile,” said Ssenyonyi.

Regarding complaints of delayed delivery of drugs, the Committee recommended that NMS streamlines the cycle of procurement, dispatch and delivery of medicines and other supplies to health facilities with strict timelines.

Bukomansimbi South MP Geoffrey Solo Kayemba then delivered his constituents’ complaints on the size of condoms.

Kayemba Solo said the people in his constituency set the small-size condoms on fire since they could not use them. He regretted to inform the House that some of these people could have contracted STDs since they were unable to use protection.

“The other thing which is very crucial is about the condoms that they procured. I got a complaint from my area where they brought condoms of very small sizes which couldn’t fit the users,” said Solo, an opposition NUP legislator.

“At the end of the day, they didn’t use them, they burnt them and I am sure some people lost their lives.”

Meanwhile, a Ugandan ‘doctor’ was recently arrested after he claimed he can cure HIV/AIDS with a drug that has onions as one of its ingredients. (See Details Here).
