The members are also said to have recommended suspension of public transport, with cargo transport only allowed alongside private vehicles.

For education, school teachers will also be ordered to take Covid19 vaccines or stay away from classes; schools expected to only have boarders, and classes whcih had not reported to wait.

For higher education institutions, e-learning will be the only option.

The taskforce also told Museveni to emphasize a ban on all public gatherings, including church services, funerals and weddings.

There will also be strict enforcement of curfew and all standard operating procedures (SoPs).

The president is making more consultations on these recommendations before making a decision that he will announce in a televised address.

Some of the recommendations will be announced as orders for implementation while others will be dropped.
