That’s not me, says Katumba Oyee on viral dreadlocks photo

Former presidential candidate John Katumba Oyee has distanced himself from a viral photo of a man who resembles him, this time in dreadlocks.

The photo made some imagine a Rastafarian Katumba Oyee!

The youngest presidential candidate in Uganda’s post-independence history, Katumba Oyee has spoken out on the dreads.

He fumed at Mart Barber (alias Matt Barber) for editing his photo to give him dreads.

“That’s not me, Martbarber wewumuzeko, how much did they pay you to photo edit this?” he asked the barber.

“I pity even the people whose hair you trim.”

He went ahead: “May God help you, your devil won’t pull me there; shame on you!”
