Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says CID operatives will summon and quiz a number of politicians, cultural leaders and relatives over claims that late speaker Jacob Oulanyah was poisoned.
Speaker Oulanyah died on March 20. (Read Story Here).
On April 08, Oulanyah was laid to rest in Omoro District. (Read Story Here).
During the burial, his father Nathan Okori INSISTED THAT HIS SON OULANYAH WAS POISONED. (Read Story Here).
Okori is one of those to be summoned by police, according to Enanga.
Police is also expected to summon Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi, a former tourism minister and the current NRM Vice Chairman for Buganda.
Kiwanda is on record as saying that OULANYAH TOLD HIM HE WAS POISONED. (Read Story Here).
CID will also quiz Dr Chris Baryomunsi, the current minister of ICT and National Guidance.

Police will also summon MPs Gilbert Olanya and Santa Okot, singer Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Bosmic Otim, as well as “several bloggers.”
“They should provide us with the chain of evidence of how the crime was committed allegedly beyond reasonable doubt, by whom, how the poison was acquired, proof of access to the victim whether directly or indirectly, and any parallel certificate of death, to help substantive their version of cause of death,” said Enanga.
