Motormouthed commentator and former presidential advisor Joseph Tamale Mirundi says he reconciled with Andrew Mwenda and will work with whoever supports first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
On April 23, Mirundi and Mwenda were pictured in a warm embrace that shook many who had been following the former.
Mirundi had been using his shows to label Mwenda part of the mafia gang and as one of those responsible for his predicament.
But the two shook hands and embraced in some sort of reconciliation as they celebrated the 48th birthday of first son Lt Gen Kainerugaba.
Now, Mirundi has said he will have no problem with anyone supporting Muhoozi.
“I will shake hands with whoever supports Muhoozi,” Mirundi told Radio4.
On whether he had lost his credibility by reconciling with Mwenda, Mirundi said: “How? Let us wait. When I left the opposition they said the same. I have stood my ground. They have found me on my project as a standby generator. Where would the attention be if I had fought Mwenda?”
