Former presidential advisor Joseph Tamale Mirundi has spoken out on reports that he was given money to reconcile with Andrew Mwenda.
Mwenda and Mirundi reconciled during first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 48th birthday party at the weekend.
For almost a decade, Mirundi had been blaming Mwenda for being part of a mafia gang and for his woes.
Some people had claimed that Mirundi could have been paid to reconcile with Mwenda, a man many thought he would never reconcile with.
Mirundi has now told Balaam Barugahara’s Radio 4 that he did not get any coin for reconciling with Mwenda.
“There was nothing,” he said.
“You think there was a deal, you think I was given money.”
He also emphasized how he was suffered over the years.
“Nobody has suffered like me. I rejected a job. They took the vehicle and the 20-liter fuel entitlement,” said Mirundi.
