The founder of NUP, previously NURP, Moses Kibalama Nkonge, is not dead as reported on social media, party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi has said.
Reports, began by online tabloid Mulengera, Kibalama claimed Kibalama passed on at the Bombo Military Hospital June 17 afternoon.
But Ssenyonyi dismissed the report.
He said Kibalama needed prayers because he was in critical condition.
“Please disregard the rumours circulating that Mzee Moses Nkonge Kibalama is dead,” wrote Ssenyonyi.
“He’s in critical condition, but he’s alive. Let’s keep him in prayer.”
