FDC spokesperson and Kira Municipality MP Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says it is unlikely that Jacob Oulanyah L’Okori, the late former speaker of the 11th Parliament, was poisoned.
Oulanyah was laid to rest in Omoro District on April 08. (Read Story Here).
During the burial ceremony, Oulanyah’s father Nathan Okori insisted that his son was poisoned. (Read Story Here).
But Ssemujju, who was Oulanyah’s colleague in Parliament, says people just don’t want to accept that death can happen to anyone at any time.
“I don’t think Jacob Oulanyah was poisoned. He was sick for such a long time,” Ssemujju told Capital Gang.
“Africans do not know how to accept death. Once it happens, they think there is something more to it.”
Appearing on the same show, Godfrey Kiwanda, the NRM vice chairman for Buganda, said OULAYAH TOLD HIM HE WAS POISONED. (Read Story Here).
