Speaker of parliament Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah has reportedly undergone three surgery operations for the time he has spent in a US hospital.
The surgery operations are said to have been recommended by experts in order to save the Omoro County MP’s life.
Reports claimed that that the operations were done in Oulanyah’s stomach.
They further claim that the speaker was currently weak given the very nature of surgeries but there was hope that he would heal and return to Uganda to execute his duties.
While some report claimed that Oulanyah was expected back next month, others said he would spend more months in the US.
This publication couldn’t independently verify these claims about the speaker’s surgery operations.
But deputy speaker of parliament Anita Among was expected to brief the nation on her boss’ health condition.
