Popular socialite Alicia Kembabazi aka Alicia Boss Chic has offered to treat incarcerated Kawempe North MP-elect Muhammad Ssegirinya to a romantic night with all her services unpaid for the moment he is released from Kitalya State Prison.
Recently, Ssegirinya was arrested in protest against the continued detention of NUP members.
He was briefly held at Mini Price Police Post before being detained at the Kampala Central Police Station.
Court would later remand him to Kitalya Prison until next month for inciting violence.
Boss Chic however criticized the state over the politician’s arrest and subsequent remand, insisting he was an activist seeking justice for the rest of his ‘comrades.’
Appearing on Spark TV’s weekend entertainment news roundup on Saturday, Boss Chic said she will mobilize a swarm of slay queens to give Mr Update a night to remember as soon as she learns of his release from the coolers.
Asked by host Ibrah Mukasa whether she was aware the politician is a married man, Alicia shrugged it off saying she didn’t care since this is a matter of public importance that calls for everybody’s indulgence.
On reports that Ssegirinya did not have the requisite academic qualifications to be in parliament, the slay queen laughed it off, saying it is a matter of time before the MP elect comes out to embarrass his opponent Sulaiman Kidandala.
“We even saw photos of him in class. These people are just witch hunting him. How then is it possible he successfully contested as a City councilor?” she asked.
“I believe these people have not yet given him time to explain himself. When he finally gets it, he will surely show his authentic papers to the public and bring the subject to rest.”
