Kashambya County MP and well known Museveni boy David Kabanda has alleged that Presidency Minister Milly Babirye Babalanda’s office removed names of RDCs who failed to bribe them with Shs20m from the list of new Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) and their deputies.
Recently, Museveni’s office released the list of new RDCs, RCCs and their deputies. (Read Story Here).
But Kabanda says that he has information that those who failed to pay a Shs20m bribe were dropped from the list.
“It’s very unfortunate that many RDCs were dropped because they couldn’t afford hefty bribes asked by officials in the ministry of Presidency under Milly Babalanda,” said Kabanda.
“Understand it was required for each to pay 20M to retain their positions. SAD!”
This is not the only allegation against Minister Babalanda’s office in as far as the RDCs reshuffle is concerned.
It is alleged that she appointed her ‘husband,’ brother and daughter as RDCs. (Read Story Here).
