SHOCKING VIDEO! ‘Armed Men’ Kidnap, Rob Pakistani Businessman in Broad Daylight

There was fear in Kireka in Wakiso District’s Kira Municipality after a Pakistani businessman was kidnapped by men in army fatigue in broad daylight.

Kidnappings akin to the pre and post-2021 election period seem to have returned, according to recent reports.

Brandishing assault riffles, the men in military clothes abducted Rafik Khan, a Pakistani businessman dealing in cars.

Other reports had referred to the businessman as Muhammed Hensam.

The suspects are said to have been four in number, three in military fatigue and one in plain clothes.

For their mission, the four men were reportedly driving in a private vehicle.

Rafik Khan’s kidnapping happened around Kireka Grammar Primary School in Kira Municipality’s Kireka C Area.

The incident took place at about 5pm.

He tried to put up some resistance but the armed men overpowered him, bundling him into their car and driving off. Rafik Khan’s colleagues also failed to save him from being abducted while locals only managed to record videos of the incident.

The businessman was later robbed of money, an amount that was yet to be specified.

Hours after the abduction, the armed men then threw Rafik Khan at a place called Kasangalabi Village along the Mukono-Kayunga Road

Rafik Khan was reportedly too shocked to even manage record a statement at the local police, prompting officers to give him some time to recover from the shock.

Cases of kidnapping have been reported recently. For example, a senior Ugandan journalist was recently kidnapped as he left his workplace in Kampala. (Read Story Here).
