Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian Life Church, Makerere, Kavule, in the Ugandan capital Kampala, has told his congregation he is glad Nigerian Prophet Joshua Temitope Balogun aka TB Joshua is dead.
TB Joshua Ministries confirmed the news of Prophet TB Joshua’s death June 06 morning.
At that time, Pastor Ssenyonga was preaching on his church pulpit.
CONFIRMED: Prophet TB Joshua Dead
“As I was preaching, I kept on seeing my phone ringing several times [with calls coming from] many people who know very well that I am on the pulpit. I wondered why they were calling back and forth only to be told that TB Joshua is dead,” said a happily-sounding Pastor Ssenyonga.
He described Prophet TB Joshua as a false prophet who has misled thousands.
“If one person can destroy a thousand, ten thousand. He had milions of followed yet he is fake,” he claimed.
He also accused TB Joshua of training fake prophets in Uganda.
“He taught these false prophets here in Uganda what to do. He lies and fakes different things.”
One of these fake prophecies, according to Ssenyonga, was the prediction that Covid19 would not affect Africa, and that it would be washed away by rain at a date that has since passed.
He also condemned the dead Prophet TB Joshua for having “destroyed so many lives.”
“The Bible says it’s not good for a sinner to die in his sins but if that sinner is killing other people, why does he think that his one soul is better than the other a thousand souls he is destroying?” asked the pastor.
“In the presence of God, no single soul is greater than the other. My soul is of the same value as that of a 10-year-old or that of a 100-year-old. Souls are the same. They cost the same price: the blood of Jesus, that is the economy of Jesus.”
He continued: “If one soul is destroying a thousand souls, in God’s economy, when that would dies it means others will live. In the mathematics of heaven, it [TB Joshua’s death] is joy.”
Pastor Ssenyonga added that he was “not rejoicing that [Prophet TB Joshua] is dead,” but “we are rejoicing that the ten thousand, twenty thousand and milions of souls will live now, in Jesus’ name.”
