Former coordinator of intelligence services Gen David Sejusa (Tinyefuuza) has advised first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to be careful with some enemies within the MK Presidency Project.
Gen Sejusa was the first bold official to claim that President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni was grooming Kainerugaba, his son to take over from him when he leaves power.
The claim, made in 2013, put local media and Gen Sejusa in trouble with the Museveni administration.
Both Museveni and Kainerugaba denied the presence of the so-called Muhoozi Project.
MUHOOZI PROJECT: Museveni Opens Up on ‘Grooming His Son Kainerugaba to Succeed Him as President’
Recently, Muhoozi revealed that he was never interested in power but Gen Sejusa and other haters made Ugandans love him through their ‘Muhoozi Project’ claims. (Read Story Here).
Now, with statements from the first son’s latest birthday party celebrations, Gen Sejusa’s ‘Muhoozi Project’ claim could be as real as the former spymaster imagined it.
Now, Sejusa has advised Lt Gen Kainerugaba, the Commander of the UPDF Land Forces, to be careful with enemies within his camp.
Angered by a purported Muhoozi Project supporter who said he would soon salute Lt Gen Kainerugaba, Sejusa said that he had headed intelligence services long enough and was able to easily spot enemies and potential enemies or fifth columnists within any camp or organisation.
Suggesting that there could be many of these with in the MK [Muhoozi Kainerugaba] camp, Gen Sejusa advised President Museveni’s son to pay attention to purported supporters who have made it a habit to insult him and other national leaders under the pretext of advancing the interests and cause of the first son’s ambitions.
Meanwhile, UPDF’s Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi has granted a request by pro-Muhoozi MPs to have a football match with army generals in celebration of Muhoozi’s birthday. (Read Story Here).
The UPDF has since released its lineup of generals that will battle MPs in the Muhoozi Birthday Cup football match. (Read Story Here).
