Controversial academic and politician Dr Stella Nyanzi has laughed at National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and his supporters after social media giant Facebook restored her deleted posts.
Facebook had deleted a post in which Dr Stella Nyanzi shared a Daily Monitor cartoon portraying Bobi Wine as holy and untouchable.
The social network site had removed the post hours after it warned it would restrict the former Kampala Woman MP aspirant’s account if she continued attacking Bobi Wine.
Nyanzi has in recent days called out Bobi Wine, noting he is a worse dictator than Museveni.
She had also accused Bobi Wine, his supporters and tech giant Facebook of gagging, and suffocating freedom of expression.
Now, as Facebook started restoring her posts, Nyanzi told Bobi Wine’s supporters they should be ashamed of themselves, claiming they would not hide from the truth.
“My posts that were recently pulled down for no justifiable reason are silently returning to my timeline,” she wrote.
“The truth liberates! Wooo… muswadde [shame on you].”
