Serbia are now the leaders of Group A in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers after a 1-0 win against on Saturday.
Striker Dusan Vlahovic’s goal gave Serbia victory and three points, rising atop of the group with 14 points garnered from six games.
The Serbs are one point ahead of second-placed Portugal who have a game in hand whose result could tilt the group standings.
Currently in third place are Luxembourg who have managed from five games.
In fourth is Republic of Ireland who beat Azerbaijan, thanks to Callum Robinson.
