Singer Evelyn Lagu has suggested that Andrew Sekisonge, the father of their son Freddie Kasavu, could be used by Satan to block her healing after he attempted to block him from donating his kidney.
Evelyn Lagu requires about Shs250m for a kidney transplant and other life-saving operations.
Her fundraising drive fell short of that figure.
To cut the cost, Lagu says her son volunteered to donate his kidney, since they share genes.
But she was shocked when her ex-husband accused her of forcing their son to donate his kidney.
Now, Lagu has accused the father of their son of child neglect.
“He has not been helping, not even paying school fees for our son. He has been asking for him during holidays, but he couldn’t even buy him a pair of shoes. Why is he coming out now, where has he been?,” wondered Lagu.
“I wonder why he is coming out now to block him from donating his kidney to me. Does he feel responsible now or does his love the child so much. I also didn’t understand.”
She also suggested the devil could be working through her ex-husband to block her healing.
“You know the devil works through some people to fail you whenever he sees you close to something good or breakthrough. People, especially men, have issues. He even told me we were going to waste money as if he is God,” she continued.
“He asked me what guarantee I have that a kidney transplant will save my life. It is God who decides when one leaves the world. You cannot just sit there when you can do something. God has not given up on me. I am a miracle.”
Lagu also revealed that it was ‘youthful love’ that connected her with the father of their son.
“It was young love. I was 19. I cannot change the fact that he is the father of my kid. I don’t want to create enmity with him. “
