SAD! Tears as Ugandan Radio Presenter ‘Mysteriously’ Dies

Staff and workers at Kinkizi FM in Kanungu District were left in shock after Joel Tumusiime Ssalongo aka Bwana Yoweri, their colleague, mysteriously died. 

Bwana Yoweri had recently joined the station after working at Freedom Radio and Peak FM in Kabale.

But the presenter died on March 01 after a short illness.

Available reports indicate that Bwana Yoweri had started bleeding through the nose after hosting a program in the morning.

He then rushed home, from where his colleagues and family attempted to take him to hospital.

But the presenter died on his way to the hospital.

Station manager Chris Kareju has been quoted as saying that Bwana Yoweri had started vomiting blood on February 28 evening.

That the station had offered the presenter first aid, only for the blood vomiting to continue until the following morning.
