The accident involved motor vehicles Registration Numbers UAT 995A (Raum), UBH 437K (Toyota Hiace) and UBJ 676W (Toyota Hiace).

The six people who perished in the accident have been identified as David Mulabi, Fatima Namarome, Kurusum Nambafu, Isaka Kafero, and a yet-to-be unidentified male adult.

A one Saida Nandigobe sustained serious injuries while two others, who were not identified, survived the accident.
