SAD: Another Andrew Mwenda relative killed in road accident in just one month

Journalist Andrew Mwenda has lost a second relative to a road accident in a space of just one month.

Sabastia Noah Adyeri Kakiiza Rubani died in a road accident Friday night.

“Last night, my cousin, my son, my best friend, my ally, my confidant, my playmate, my advisor – Sabastia Noah Adyeri Kakiiza Rubani, died in a car accident!” announced Mwenda.

“In one minute he was full of life and zest. In another he was gone. The world is yet to produce someone who embodied the best human qualities as he did.”

His death comes barely a month after the death of Mwenda’s nephew in a Fort Portal road accident.

Rubani was special.

He was handsome like a Greek god. He was generous beyond limit. He was kind beyond description.

He was nice beyond understanding.

He was good natured beyond comprehension.

He was smart beyond explanation.

He was the coolest kid in Uganda.

He was the best friend one could ever dream of having.

Everyone who met him loved him.

To be around this kid was to be around happiness, relaxation, sophistication, greatness.

He had class and yet acted simple. He was confident yet modest. Why leave us so early?
