Colodine Mukamulenzi Muhawenimana, the Rwandan woman filmed in enjoying herself with bicycle bodaboda rider Paskari Hafashimana on a street in Kisoro Municipality, has admitted to engaging in the act on the street.
Police arrested Muhawenimana and Hafashimana on November 03 after their video went viral. (Watch video here).
When officers at Kisoro Police Station interrogated Muhawenimana, it was discovered that she had left Rwanda to work in Uganda’s southwestern district of Kisoro.
Currently aged 24, Muhawenimana said she was shocked to learn that some bystanders had recorded their act of passion.
A fruit seller, Muhawenimana revealed that Hafashimana had asked her for her ‘forbidden fruit’ earlier in the day.
That the bicycle bodaboda rider had committed to pay her Shs5,000 of his hard-earned money to appreciate her ‘service.’
Both had agreed to the exchange.
Noting that she knew Hafashimana personally and that he was not a stranger to her, Muhawenimana also confessed she had join prostitution at a younger age.
That after her parents passed on, she had left Rwanda to look for ways of survival in Kisoro, consequently falling into the prostitution trap.
Muhawenimana is, for now, the poster child for other young Rwandan women lured into prostitution in Kisoro.
