In a statement issued in Entebbe, Katikkiro (Buganda Prime Minister) Mayiga explained that the kabaka had flown to meet the kingdoms partners in Europe.
“Most of the ongoing projects in the kingdom are being supported by our partners. I introduced some of the partners to kingdom officials in our recently held retreat,” explained Mayiga.
“Getting such partners requires creating a strong relationship with them and the kabaka has been instrumental in ensuring that there is a good relationship between the kingdom and our partners. Once he is in Europe and there is another issue especially the Kabaka Foundation activities.”
Noting that the Kabaka’s travel was beneficial to the kingdom, Katikkiro Mayiga said he would also travel to Europe in the near future to monitor the kingdom projects that the Kabaka has undertaken during his trips abroad.
Mayiga also hinted on the Kabaka’s medical checkup in Europe.
