Newly appointed Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), Resident City Commissioners (RCCs), their deputies and commissioners of the RDC secretariat are expected to pick their appointment letters next week.
On March 23, President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s office released the new list of new RDCs, their deputies and commissioners of the RDC secretariat. (See List Here).
Now, Yunus Kakande, the secretary in the office of the president, has been quoted as saying that the appointment letters for the new officials will be ready next week.
“All new RDCs/RCCs will receive their appointment letters next week on Monday from the President’s Office in Kampala,” Kakande was quoted as saying.
The quick processing of letters means that the appointments will take immediate effect.
