Bobi Wine’s brother and former Kampala Central parliamentary aspirant Fred Nyanzi has spoken out on a raid on his home March 21 morning.
According to National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine (real name Robert Kyagulanyi), Nyanzi escapes from armed men.
Writing from his ‘hideout,’ Nyanzi has now claimed he jumped over his house’s fence.
Although his brother blamed the raid on ‘heavily’ armed men in plain clothes, Nyanzi quickly blamed the attack on the elite Special Forces Command (SFC).
First son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is the commandant of SFC.
“SFC has attacked my home; I escaped over the fence,” claimed Nyanzi.
It was not readily clear who had carried out the raid.
Bobi Wine said the gunmen had quizzed his brother’s wife and other family members about Nyanzi’s whereabouts.
But Nyanzi accused the attackers of ‘torturing my wife and children.”
