Deputy Speaker Anita Annet Among has once again cleared the air on rumors that her boss Jacob Oulanyah had passed on.
Rumors of Speaker Oulanyah’s death started spreading on social media on February 13.

Among, also Bukedea District Woman MP, has also added her voice in debunking the reports as false.
According to the deputy speaker, her boss Oulanyah, also the Omoro County MP, is currently receiving treatment.
Among also asked Ugandans to keep Oulanyah in their prayers.
“Fellow Countrymen and Women, our leader and brother the Rt Hon Jacob Oulanyah is receiving treatment as recommended by the doctors. Disregard the falsehoods making rounds on social media about his health,” said the deputy speaker.
“I ask all people of good will to pray for a speedy recovery for him.”
