The Next Media Park launch was attended by the powerful mighty of Ugandan political and business fields, with the country’s president Gen Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni being the chief guest.

The guests were guided on a tour of the Next Media Park. The tours is part of the activities lined up for the official launch.

In recent years, Next Media Services, especially its NBS TV brand, has sought to change the media landscape in Uganda.

It has hired a number of presenters and reporters from its rivals, particularly Nation Media Group (NMG) subsidiary NTV Uganda and Vision Group.

But the media group has also been accused by the political opposition of being biased in favour of the Museveni regime. (Read Story Here).
