Police clears air on Enanga resignation reports

Uganda Police Force (UPF) has dismissed social media claims that its spokesperson Fred Enanga had resigned.

Yet-to-be-identified people crafted a resignation letter and widely circulated it online.

Although there were some glaring signs that it was fake, some people readily believed it and started celebrating the exit of a man they accuse of telling lies on camera.

Police quickly flagged the resignation letter fake.

Uganda Police Force (UPF) has flagged a resignation letter purportedly written by its spokesperson Fred Enanga as fake.

Last month, an almost similar fake report claimed Enanga’s deputy Polly Namaye had thrown in the towel.

But Namaye refuted the reports of her resignation.
