Education Minister Janet Museveni and Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) have released PLE 2023 results.
Candidates, their parents or guardians and school teachers can access individual candidate’s PLE 2023 results via SMS after the official release at State House Nakasero.
SMS OPTION
“No [print] copies of results are available as of now. Parents, candidates and other interested parties may use the Short Messaging Service (SMS) on mobile networks, which will post results of candidates on their mobile sets instantly,” said Uneb executive secretary Dan Odongo.
They can do this by simply typing PLE <SPACE> Full Student Index Number E.g PLE 00123/336. This can be sent to 6600 on telecom networks, MTN and Airtel. At a cost of Shs500 per SMS, one will receive PLE 2023 results for each candidate.
DOWNLOAD, COLLECTION OF RESULTS
According to Odongo, results will be uploaded on the examination centre Portals. Each school can thereafter download their results as soon as they are officially released.
“However, the District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools may collect hard copies of the results from UNEB offices at Ntinda from Monday, 29th January. 2024,” added Odongo.
