PHOTOS: NUP SG Rubongoya Bags Oxford University Law Degree

Main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has graduated from University of Oxford with a Master of International Human Rights Law Studies degree.

A happy Rubongoya, who was formerly in Museveni’s NRM, said he was fired up to fight human rights violations.

‘Very delighted today to graduate with a Master of Studies in International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. God has been gracious,” he said.

Main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has graduated from University of Oxford with a Master of International Human Rights Law Studies degree.

“This award encourages me to continue pushing for the respect of rights & freedoms beginning with my country Uganda.”

A number of NUP leaders have since congratulated Robongoya.

‘Exceedingly over-joyed for comrade David Lewis Rubongoya who has graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Studies Degree in International Human Rights Law.

It is amazing how comrade Lewis has remained truly committed to and fully involved in our struggle to dislodge a dictator despite pursuing what must have been a very demanding course of study.

Thank you comrade Lewis for always putting our country and its people first; for putting your energy, time, brain and experience at the unconditional disposal of oppressed countrymates struggling for a dignified existence.
