First son and Commander Land Forces (CLF) Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to hold talks with President Paul Kagame.
Lt Gen Kainerugaba arrived in Kigali a few hours ago.
He is expected to meet President Kagame in the coming hours of January 22.
Kainerugaba’s meeting with Kagame comes on the heels of delivery by Ambassador Adonia Ayebare, of a special message from President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni to the Rwandan president.
But Rwanda’s spokesperson quickly demanded more than envoy visits and special messages from Kampala. (Read story here).
