Pastor Bujjingo: I Hate Divorce; It’s a Sign of Failure

House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) ‘pastor’ Aloysius Bujjingo says he doesn’t advocate for divorce.

Last week, Bujjingo was introduced by his ‘second wife’ Suzan Makula Nantaba, an employee at his Salt Media.

The introduction happened even when court is yet to dispose of a case in which Bujjingo wants a divorce.

His first and official wife Teddy Naluswa Bujjingo rushed to report the controversial cleric at the Kawempe Police Station, accusing him of committing bigamy, by introducing another woman yet he is officially married to her (Teddy Naluswa Bujjingo).

A general enquiries file was opened under reference number GEF 84/2021.

With this file, Teddy Naluswa hopes the state will investigate her allegations and cause the prosecution of her man.

In what sounded shocking to some of his church members attending the service at Canaan Land on December 12, Bujjingo spoke against divorce.

Sounding like he regretted his failed marriage with Teddy Naluswa, Bujjingo explained that one would lose their business and marriage if they do not their time and attention to them.

He then told wives to love their husbands, and husbands to love their wives.

“Never think about divorce because it means you have failed to run your business no matter how much you liked it; it means you didn’t devote your time to the business,” preached Bujjingo.

He then made it clear that his church doesn’t and “will never support divorce.”

Bujjingo further noted that while laws existed, one had to do his part by jaelously guarding their marriages.

One’s carelessness, he argued, wouldn’t stop others from stealing one’s husband or wife even when laws against theft exist.
