Word of Salvation Church Ministries International Pastor Teddy Naluswa Bujjingo has insisted on not giving her husband Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) land titles, car logbooks and their marriage certificate.
As a way of showing how much she was opposed to the idea of giving Bujjingo these precious documents, Naluswa filed an appeal against orders compelling her to submit the papers.
On March 31, 2022, the Family Division of the High Court in Makindye directed Naluswa to give Bujjingo’s lawyers seven land titles, three cars and their marriage certificate.
Bujjingo claims to have left these documents with Naluswa at their home in Kitende, along Entebbe Road in Wakiso District in 2016.
He says he needs them for a divorce case currently before court.
In 2019, Bujjingo filed for divorce after 29 of marriage with Naluswa.
Naluswa is opposed to the divorce.
While Naluswa had previously claimed that she was still looking for the documents and that she had fallen sick, she has now made it clear that she is not ready to hand them to Bujjingo.
Her argument that the HPMI pastor could use the documents in the manner he wants if he gets them now.
Naluswa says she is ready to deposit the documents in court in whose possession they should remain until the divorce case has been disposed of.
